'the mulberry bush' by writer and director Neil LaBute, staring J.J. Kandel and Victor Slezak, premiered last night at the Tribeca Film Festival, as part of their NEW YORK NOW: Shorts Program!

Based on the stage play originally produced and presented by Throughline Artists as part of its 2012 "Summer Shorts" festival at 59E59 Theaters in NYC. This film is the inaugural short for Throughline Artists Stage to Screen Initiative, launched in 2014 to build on the wealth of new material generated by the annual "Summer Shorts" festival of new American short plays®.
